How do we conceive of, design, and co-produce public spaces founded on intersectional solidarity? How might the phenomenon of platform urbanism, in its literal and conceptual connotations, hurt or hinder the production of such egalitarian spaces? For the second feature of Platform Austria’s autumn programme, curator Carmen Hines will engage in critical conversation with Ying-Tzu Lin of the Slutty Urbanism Collective, Milagros Hurtig from Urban Femina collective and activist, urbanist, and architect Gabu Heindl to unpack the questions presented above. Engaging intersectional feminism with Platform Urbanism Studies, the intervention will explore how we can co-produce cities centred on human rights and inclusion for all.
